How to contact Voice Support

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Kraken offers phone support as a secure way to get help with your account. To protect you from impersonation scams, we’ve introduced important changes to how voice support works, including an in-app feature that lets you verify you’re speaking with a real Kraken Support specialist.

Accessing phone support

To guarantee the highest level of service and security, voice support is only available through the Kraken mobile apps, and only in specific situations where a call is the most appropriate resolution path.

Where applicable, a Call us option will appear in the Support tab within the Kraken, Kraken Pro, or Krak mobile apps. Voice support cannot be accessed by dialing a number directly. Any phone number you find online claiming to be Kraken Support should be treated as a potential phishing scam.

If Voice Support isn’t available for you, we encourage you to get in touch with our team via our other contact channels, or use our Support Center to search for answers to common questions.

Verifying your call with Kraken Support

When you initiate a call from within a Kraken app, you can confirm in real time that you’re speaking with a Kraken Support specialist, without relying on caller ID. During an active call, a banner will appear on your app homepage confirming that you are connected to Kraken Support. Right now, this feature is only available for iOS devices. We will be enabling the feature for Android devices soon.

Protecting yourself from phone scams

  • Phone numbers found online: If you find a phone number online that claims to be Kraken Support, do not call it. Kraken does not publish direct dial-in support numbers. These listings are phishing attempts designed to steal your account credentials or funds.

  • Unexpected calls: Kraken Support will not call you without first arranging contact through email or chat support. If you receive an unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from Kraken without having initiated contact with our team, hang up immediately and contact us directly through the app to verify.

  • Phishing emails: Emails from Kraken will always have the @kraken.com domain name at the end of them. This includes sub-domains such as @email.kraken.com. If you are unsure about the origin of an email you received, check our guide before clicking any links: Is this email from Kraken?

Be sure to review our guide for securing your account.

What Kraken Support will never ask for

Regardless of how the conversation started, a Kraken Support specialist will never ask you for any of the following over the phone:

  • Your password

  • A Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code

  • A Device Approval Code

  • Wallet addresses or seed words

  • Your Master Key

  • Remote access to your computer

  • Removal of or changes to your account security settings

If you are asked for any of this information, hang up immediately and contact Kraken Support.
