A third party payment processor (TPPP) is a company that provides payment-processing services to merchants and other business entities. Many brokerage firms rely on TPPPs to handle funds transfers on behalf of their clients. TPPP deposits to your Kraken account arrive using a shared bank account or sundry account, which means that the account number is not unique to that individual.
Kraken does not accept transfers, to or from, third-party payments processors (TPPPs) for compliance reasons. This is because it is difficult to verify that a transaction actually came from or is destined for an account associated with the client on Kraken.
Whenever possible, we request TPPPs to block us from their services. Our system will also automatically return deposits from TPPPs and cancel withdrawals to TPPPs.
IMPORTANT: We are unable to assist with the tracing of transactions through TPPPs that have not reached our systems. Such problems lie with the TPPP and needs to be resolved by them.

We may be able to accept deposits or withdrawals via a TPPP after further review, however, we cannot guarantee this ahead of time. Please raise a support request if you’d like to request use of a TPPP to fund your Kraken account. We always recommend using a regular bank to fund your Kraken account to avoid any delays.
