Kraken Drops: Midnight (NIGHT) airdrop

Kraken will support the Midnight (NIGHT) airdrop, also known as the Glacier Drop. Midnight is a fourth-generation blockchain built around rational privacy, allowing users to interact and verify truth online without exposing personal data and bringing practical privacy to Web3.

    Airdrop amount: ~$24M in NIGHT tokens, split between eligible users based on eligibility

    Airdrop date: Tuesday Dec 9 2025 is the first distribution. The airdrop will be distributed in four transactions over a 12 month period. With ¼ of your eligible amount distributed in each wave.

In order to qualify for the NIGHT airdrop, you’d have to have balances of the following coins on our snapshot date:

    Basic Attention Token (BAT)

June 10, 2025 — 23:57 UTC

    Cardano (ADA)

    XRP (XRP)

    Solana (SOL)

All spot and staked balances held on Kraken for the above assets were included at the snapshot time.

Note: An allocation of 1,000 NIGHT or more is required to be eligible for this airdrop. Clients with an allocation of under 1,000 NIGHT will not receive a distribution.

    Clients that held a balance in one or more supported assets (ETH, BAT, ADA, XRP, or SOL) on Kraken at the snapshot time.

Clients located in restricted regions at the time of distribution are not eligible. This includes Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Bolivia, Belarus, Democratic Republic of the Congo, China, Cuba, Algeria, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Japan, St. Kitts & Nevis, North Korea, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, St. Lucia, Libya, Morocco, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Turkey and Trinidad & Tobago.

Tokens will be distributed automatically to qualifying accounts. No claims or forms required. The distribution will be in 4 waves, over the course of 12 months. The first wave is December 9, 2025.

There are no fees to receive your airdrop. Standard trading fees may apply to NIGHT trading.
