Balance Export

The Balance Export provides a snapshot of your fiat and crypto holdings at a selected past date, including each currency’s total value in a fiat currency. It can be useful for account balance verification or keeping record of your overall portfolio.

    Snapshot in time: The Balance Export shows your account holdings - fiat currencies (Cash Portfolio) and cryptocurrencies (Crypto Portfolio) as of a specific date.

    Display currency: All values are converted into a fiat currency (available in USD) to give you an estimation of your portfolio’s total value.

    Go to the Documents Center:

    Sign into your Kraken account, and then click your profile icon in the top-right corner. Then, select Documents from the dropdown menu.

    Create a new export:

    Within the Exports section, click Create Export.

    Then, select "Balances" as the export type.

    Configure your export:

    - Date: select the past date you want to capture your account balances.

    - Format: Choose PDF or CSV

    Generate and download the export:

    Click Generate to submit your request. The export will appear in the Exports list, where you can click Download to save the file to your device. If your window is still open, it may begin downloading automatically.

    Header:

    Includes your name, Kraken Public ID, and the statement date (the date used to generate the snapshot).

    Fields:

    - Currency/Symbol: Lists each fiat currency you hold. (Ex. USD, CAD, EUR)

    - Wallet: Indicates which wallet the funds are held in. (Ex. Spot, Earn)

    - Quantity: The amount of each currency.

    - Price (USD) and Total Value (USD)

    Total account balance:

    - Summarizes the combined value of all cash and crypto holdings in USD.
