Kraken Derivatives eligibility requirements

Kraken is home to Kraken Derivatives and Kraken Derivatives US. Kraken Derivatives (non-US) allows clients to trade perpetual futures and Kraken Derivatives US provides clients with access to trade futures and spot margin products offered on U.S. exchanges such as the CME and Bitnomial.

An account must fulfill both the verification and geographic requirements to unlock Kraken Derivatives.

Have an account with Kraken that is verified as follows:

Business clients: Pro verified and participated in the KYC update.
Geographic restrictions
Kraken Derivatives is not available to clients in the regions listed below:

Australia (and territories)*
Bangladesh
Belarus
Canada
Congo, Democratic Republic of the
Cuba
Iran
Iraq
Korea, Democratic People's Republic of
Libya
New Zealand
Russia
United Kingdom**
Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk & Luhansk regions)
*Derivatives trading is only available to Australian wholesale clients via its Australian financial services licensed broker, Beaufort Fiduciaries Pty Ltd (ACN 162 139 871 AFSL no 545124).
**For clients residing in the United Kingdom, access to derivatives trading is arranged by Crypto Facilities Limited (FRN: 757895), and is only available to clients who meet the criteria for categorisation as a Professional Client under Chapter 3 of the Conduct of Business Sourcebook.
Kraken Derivatives US (US futures)

Kraken Derivatives US is only available to clients in the United States.
U.S. futures products and services on Kraken are provided by NinjaTrader Clearing, LLC d/b/a Kraken Derivatives US ("KDUS"). KDUS is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") as a futures commission merchant ("FCM") and is a National Futures Association ("NFA") Member (NFA ID: 0309379).
