What is an ACH trace number?

A Trace number is a mandatory unique 15 digit reference number given to each ACH transfer, which can be used to investigate and track missing deposits to Kraken.

A Trace number will be required if we have to reach out to our funding provider to investigate your missing deposit.

How can I get a Trace number?

Your bank will be able to provide you with this information, after the funds have been transferred from your bank account.

If a bank representative is unable to provide you with this, you may have to reach out to the bank manager or the wire department for assistance.
