A Personal account with higher limits is the highest verification level available and includes the following benefits:

Further increasing your deposit & withdrawal limits.

Access to Kraken’s Over-the-Counter trading desk.

Higher API limits.
A Personal account with higher limits is the highest verification level available and includes the following benefits:

You would like to create an account on behalf of a third party.
- •
You intend to use this account as a reseller of digital assets as a business.
- •
You intend to fund your account with a business bank account.
To open a Personal account with higher limits (or upgrade your existing verified account):

Please create a personal account at Kraken.com, if you have not done so already.

Ensure you secure your account by adding Sign-in two-factor authentication (2FA).

Navigate to your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, and then select Settings. Once on the Settings page, click Get verified under the Verification section.

Once you apply for higher limits, you will typically receive a response from our onboarding team within 0-2 business days. Please note additional processing time may be required to approve your application, subject to additional information or documentation that may be requested.

Please create a personal account on Kraken Pro, if you have not done so already.

On Kraken Pro:
Navigate to your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, and then select Settings. Under the Account details section click Get higher limits.

Once you apply for higher limits, you will typically receive a response from our onboarding team within 0-2 business days. Please note additional processing time may be required to approve your application, subject to additional information or documentation that may be requested.
