Deposit and withdrawal limits by verification status

Your funding limits are determined by a number of factors, including your verification status, country of residence, transaction activity, how long you’ve had a Kraken account, and the asset you're trying to deposit or withdraw. Cash and cryptocurrency limits reset on a rolling 24-hour and 30-day basis. Limits for certain payment methods are dynamic and may change over time. In most cases, your limits will increase the more that you use Kraken.

If you have a verified account, you can increase your funding limits by verifying more information about your identity and ensuring your account is secured with 2-factor authentication. For more information about verifying your identity, please see how to get verified on Kraken.

If you have a personal account with higher limits already, you can contact Support to request an increase in funding limits, however, we cannot guarantee an increase above the default amount for all funding methods or asset types.

The currency limits apply to all cash funding options. Limits for instant purchase options or ACH deposits are subject to your Kraken account limits and depend on which method you choose. This applies to the following methods:

Remember that all limit values are calculated in USD. For example, if you have a verified account without higher limits, and you deposit 100,000 EUR when EUR is worth more than USD, your deposit will be put on-hold for going over the daily limit.
