After 11th of February 2025: Sign in to your Kraken account . Navigate to the Deposit section from either the Home page or Portfolio , depending on your platform. Select the Asset you wish to deposit as Australian Dollar(AUD). Choose Manual Bank Transfer as the deposit method. As part of an upgrade of our payment systems, we’re updating your account to a new Kraken BSB and account number on 11th February 2025. This means you’ll have a new BSB and account number for AUD deposits to your Kraken account.

What’s a BSB number and account number?

A BSB number identifies the branch for your Australian account. It’s used for local money transfers. An account number is the specific identification number for bank accounts.

What you need to do

Use your new BSB and account number for all AUD deposits to Kraken from 11th February 2025 onward. Your PayID account details will stay the same.

Finding Your New BSB and account number

After 11th of February 2025:

Sign in to your Kraken account.

What About My Old BSB?

Any transfers using your old BSB and account number will be processed until March 21, 2025. To avoid disruptions, please start using your new BSB and account number immediately for all AUD deposits. From March 21, 2025, deposits to the old BSB will not be accepted by us.
