ACATS transfer promotion

A limited-time incentive offering for eligible U.S. users, providing a bonus for qualified transfers of stocks/ETFs into Kraken Securities via ACATS. For more information, see the terms and conditions of this promotion.

ACATS stands for Automated Customer Account Transfer Service. It’s an electronic system that automates and standardizes the transfer of customer accounts, primarily their cash, stock or ETF holdings, from one brokerage to another quickly.

U.S. residents only, excluding New York and Maine who meet all of the following:

• Fully verified on Kraken Approved to trade equities

• Have an approved Kraken Securities account

• Opted in to Fully Paid Stock Lending (and remain opted in during the promotion period)

• Have not initiated an outbound ACATS transfer from Kraken during the promotion period

Only cash, stocks and ETFs transferred via ACATS qualify. Crypto and other asset types are not eligible.

Your bonus is based on your net eligible deposit (NED) at the end of the promotion period - that's the total value of ACATS transfers in, minus any ACATS transfers out or withdrawals during the same period. Your NED must meet the minimum threshold stated in the T&Cs to qualify.

Transfers can be made individually or combined to reach the minimum. If you make outbound transfers or withdrawals during the promotion, they'll reduce your NED and therefore the value your bonus is calculated on, but they won't disqualify you entirely, as long as your NED remains at or above the minimum.

You'll receive a bonus in USDG based on the total value of your qualifying ACATS transfer(s). The value of your transferred assets is determined at the time each ACATS transfer settles. No manual claim is required - the bonus is credited automatically.

The bonus is credited 14 days after the promotion period ends and placed on hold (details in the T&Cs). It's usable for trading but not withdrawable until the hold is lifted.

At the end of the hold period (detailed in the T&Cs), your bonus becomes eligible for withdrawal provided that your total net transfers into eligible equities remain equal to or greater than the initial value used to calculate the bonus.

Yes, for individual transfers meeting the minimum value threshold stated in the T&Cs, Kraken Securities will reimburse any outbound ACATS fees charged by your sending broker.

To receive reimbursement:

1. Complete a qualifying ACATS transfer during the promotion period.

2. Submit proof of the transfer fee (such as an account statement showing the charge) to Kraken Support.
   

Approved reimbursements are credited to your Kraken account. Fee reimbursements are separate from and independent of any promotional bonus.
