WebSocket API v1 – oväntade frånkopplingar från marknadsdataflöden

Vår WebSocket API v1 är avsedd att tillhandahålla en ihållande källa till vår marknadsdata (tickers, orderböcker, tid och försäljning, etc.), men ibland avslutas WebSocket-anslutningar oväntat av Cloudflare.

Cloudflare-initierade frånkopplingar resulterar vanligtvis i nätverksfel, såsom följande 1006-fel:

  • Error reading from websocket: close 1006 (abnormal closure): unexpected EOF

eller följande där Python kastar ett undantag när det försöker läsa ett nytt marknadsdatameddelande från en redan stängd anslutning:

  • websocket._exceptions.WebSocketConnectionClosedException: socket is already closed

Även om det inte finns någon lösning som förhindrar denna typ av oväntade frånkopplingar, finns det några mycket effektiva lösningar. Om du upplever frekventa WebSocket-frånkopplingar rekommenderar vi att du implementerar en eller flera av följande:

Alternativ IP-adress

Cloudflares säkerhetsåtgärder tillämpas ofta på specifika IP-adresser, grupper av liknande IP-adresser (som ett klass C-block) eller vissa geografiska platser, därför är det ibland en enkel men effektiv lösning att ändra din IP-adress.

Till exempel skulle hosting av din API-programvara i en annan AWS-region eller användning av en VPN i en annan geografisk plats båda avsevärt ändra den lokala IP-adressen och potentiellt lösa problemet med oväntad frånkoppling.

Återanslutningslogik

Att använda en enda WebSocket-anslutning som övervakas för oavsiktliga frånkopplingar och återansluts samt återprenumereras vid behov är en annan enkel men effektiv lösning. Följande är ett grundläggande exempel på Python-kod som visar hur man återansluter och återprenumererar en WebSocket-anslutning när ett WebSocketConnectionClosed-undantag kastas:

Redundanta anslutningar

Att använda flera (två eller fler) redundanta WebSocket-anslutningar är vanligtvis den mest effektiva lösningen på oväntade WebSocket-frånkopplingar, eftersom det gör att marknadsdataflöden kan fortsätta oavbrutet oavsett hur ofta de underliggande anslutningarna avslutas.

Följande grundläggande exempel på Python-kod visar hur man implementerar flera WebSocket-anslutningar med automatisk failover:

Ovanstående kod skapar två WebSocket-anslutningar och prenumererar båda anslutningarna på samma marknadsdataflöde. Den primära anslutningen används för att mata ut marknadsdata, tills ett tangentbordsavbrott genereras (via Ctrl+C, till exempel), vilket stänger den primära anslutningen. Efterföljande läsningar från den primära anslutningen kastar ett undantag, vilket fångas upp och används för att ändra marknadsdatakällan till backup-anslutningen, som sedan används för att mata ut marknadsdata.

Följande exempelutdata visar hur marknadsdatakällan ändras från den primära anslutningen till backup-anslutningen utan att avbryta marknadsdataflödet:

Observera att redundanta WebSocket-anslutningar är den mest komplexa av de tre lösningarna, men det är den optimala lösningen när det gäller tillförlitlighet.
