<p>Hoe werkt tweevoudige verificatie (2FA) voor API-sleutels?</p>

Application Programming Interface (API) (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000919966)-sleutels kunnen worden gegenereerd op je Kraken-account om externe applicaties toestemming te geven om acties uit te voeren op je account, zoals trading, toegang tot accountfinanciering of het volgen van de gegevens op je Kraken-account.

Belangrijke opmerking: De Kraken Pro mobiele app (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001332083) ondersteunt op dit moment geen tweevoudige verificatie (2FA) voor API-sleutels, daarom is het noodzakelijk om 2FA uitgeschakeld te houden voor API-sleutels die zullen worden gebruikt met Kraken Pro. Diensten van derden (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041395271) kunnen 2FA voor API-sleutels al dan niet ondersteunen, het is dus het beste om direct bij de dienst te controleren of 2FA voor API-sleutels wel of niet kan worden ingeschakeld. Een poging om 2FA voor API-sleutels te gebruiken met een app of dienst die geen 2FA ondersteunt, zou een EAPI:Invalid signature (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001491786#eapi) fout veroorzaken (of een andere foutmelding van een derde partij over een authenticatiefout).

In dit artikel wordt ervan uitgegaan dat je je bewust bent van de beveiligingsrisico's die gepaard gaan met het genereren van API-sleutels voor je account.

Tweevoudige verificatie (2FA) is één manier om de risico's van API-sleutels te beperken.

Hoe 2FA instellen voor een API-sleutel

    Sign in to your Kraken account.

    Click on your name in the upper-right corner of the page.

    Click on Security, then 2FA Settings.

    Scroll down to the API Keys section and toggle the on/off button for the API key that you would like to add a 2FA for:

    Select your 2FA option (2FA App or Password). F

    or 2FA App, open the authenticator app on your device and either scan the QR code provided or manually enter the key by selecting View setup Key. Then, enter the numeric code that appears in the authenticator app and select Confirm.

    If using the Password option (least secure), follow the instructions to set up a password and select Confirm.

    Select the actions that Two-factor Authentication will be required for. Then, click Confirm to continue.

    Note that the function selections are not currently enabled, so the 2FA code will be required for all API calls using this API key.

     and you will see that it is now enabled.
