Requirements
To deposit funds with Canada Post your Kraken account must be verified to the Intermediate level.
IPP Deposit QR Code Availability:
- •The QR code for IPP deposits is currently only available on the Kraken web portal.
- •We are working to make this feature available across all platforms, including the Kraken app, Kraken Pro app, and Kraken Pro web.
To deposit funds with Canada Post:
- 1.Sign in to your Kraken account.
- 2.Click the Deposit button.
- 3.To make a deposit, search for CAD (Canadian Dollars) under Asset, select Wire Transfer under Deposit Method, and choose In-Person Payments (IPP) under Account.
- 4.The system will generate a QR code, which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of the page.The QR code below is a sample and will redirect you back to this support page .
- 5.Take a clear photo or screenshot of your QR code.
- 6.Visit your local Canada Post office and have them scan your QR code.
- 7.Pay using physical cash or debit.
- 8.The funds should reach your Kraken account within 30-60 minutes.
