This means assets for which you make the decision to trade or invest (for example, cryptocurrencies, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate investments), as opposed to assets that an investment adviser trades or invests on your behalf. It does not include your personal residence or other assets you own that are not part of your trading or investment portfolio.

This means net assets (assets minus liabilities) as opposed to gross assets, and refers to the net assets as shown on the company's most recently prepared financial statements. Net assets include the value of real estate holdings, minus the amount of any mortgage or other indebtedness related to such real estate holdings. Net assets exceeding CAD $25,000,000

This means net financial assets (assets minus liabilities) as opposed to gross assets. Financial assets include, for example, cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds and cryptocurrencies. Financial assets do not include real estate. Beneficial ownership refers to financial assets that you own outright, as well as ownership through any trustee, legal representative, agent or any corporate or other legal entity which is wholly owned by you.

Beneficially own net financial assets exceeding CAD $5,000,000
