Notice of support for Lisk migration
Update, July 15 @ 14:00 UTC
Kraken has now successfully completed the migration of LSK to the new ERC-20 LSK token on the Ethereum Mainnet, and LSK (LSK/USD, LSK/EUR) trading has been re-enabled.
All users who held a LSK balance on May 20, 2024 14:30 UTC, when we took our migration snapshot in preparation for this migration, will see their previous balance reinstated within their portfolio.
Kraken will endeavor to support the new ERC20 LSK (LSK2) token on the Ethereum mainnet, pending completion of our review. We will keep clients informed of this process.
Due to the upcoming transition, we will remove the original Lisk (LSK) from our trading platform.
Here is what you need to know:
  • As of May 20th at 14:30 UTC, Kraken will permanently halt funding and trading for LSK in anticipation of the LSK snapshot.
  • Should clients want to qualify for LSK-related snapshots, we encourage you to follow the guidelines set out by the Lisk team.
  • Kraken endeavors to support the new ERC20 LSK (LSK2) and exchange balances at a 1:1 ratio. Further details will be shared in a separate announcement.
Note: Kraken will not support the Klayr token. Funding for the LSK remains suspended until further notice.
