How to get verified for German clients
We're currently facing delays in processing new accounts. Please avoid submitting multiple verification requests. 
This article is tailored to clients located in Germany. If you are not based in Germany please visit this article!
The steps below are for new German clients. If you are an existing German client you may be required to re-verify your account.

To verify your account:

    Sign in to your Kraken account.

    Click on the Verify identity button on the home page.

    You will be shown a prompt to accept the new Terms of Service. To continue, accept the new TOS and Privacy Policy and click Continue.

    On the next page, enter your details on the Personal information form and click Continue.

    You will then be required to fill out the Financial and banking information, followed by Product usage form.
    Take your time to fill out each field to help ensure you are providing the correct information and speed up your application.

    Finally, you will be required to perform video verification (video call) or account verification (online banking).

    Once the steps above are complete you will be notified once the verification has been successful.

We may request more information from you. If this is the case we will let you know via email or via a popup when you sign in to your account.
