The steps below are for new German clients. If you are an existing German client you may be required to re-verify your account.
To verify your account:
- 1Sign in to your Kraken account.
- 2Click on the Verify identity button on the home page.
- 3You will be shown a prompt to accept the new Terms of Service. To continue, accept the new TOS and Privacy Policy and click Continue.
- 4On the next page, enter your details on the Personal information form and click Continue.
- 5You will then be required to fill out the Financial and banking information, followed by Product usage form.Take your time to fill out each field to help ensure you are providing the correct information and speed up your application.
- 6Finally, you will be required to perform video verification (video call) or account verification (online banking).
- 7Once the steps above are complete you will be notified once the verification has been successful.
We may request more information from you. If this is the case we will let you know via email or via a popup when you sign in to your account.

Where can I find my transaction limits?
The transaction limits can be located by signing into your account, clicking on the profile menu in the upper right and then selecting Settings. Scroll down to the limits section.
