The app is currently unavailable in Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.

This is an app store restriction and not related to your current address registered with Kraken.

The default currency in the app is based on your location. You can change your displayed currency by going to the "Account" tab, selecting "Currency" and then choosing a currency. We currently support USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, CHF, AUD, JPY and AED.

Favorited assets appear as large cards in the Home page, allowing you to quickly view the price of assets you are interested in. By default, BTC and ETH are favorited. You can favorite a new asset by opening the asset page and tapping the heart button in the top right corner. To unfavorite an asset, simply press the heart button once again.

The app is currently available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portugese. Keep an eye on our Support Center and social channels to find out when the app will be available in additional languages.

To change the language:

1. Navigate to the Account tab.
2. Under App settings click on Language.
3. Choose your preferred language from the available options. 

On the final order confirmation page before making a purchase you will see a confirmation of your purchase and a full breakdown of fees, which will depend on the payment method being used.  

Note: While Kraken displays these fees for our clients, this is not consistent across all exchanges. Exchanges/services that do not disclose their fees typically build them into the spread, which would result in paying higher than the current market rate.

Currently, only sign-in 2FA is fully compatible with this app.

If you have Funding 2FA enabled on your account, you can place orders from current balances but it won't be possible to place orders with a card.

With Trading 2FA enabled, you can place orders from current balances but you can not add or delete cards or make card payments. 

With the Global Settings Lock enabled you can not add or delete cards. 

To set up sign-in 2FA in the app:

1. Click on the profile icon at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Scroll down and click on Two Factor Authentication.
3. Select either Authenticator App or Security Key.

To set up 2FA with an Authenticator App:

1. Make sure you have an Authenticator App installed.
2. Select Authenticator App after clicking on Two Factor Authentication.
3. Your Authenticator App will open automatically - click OK to save the key for your Kraken account.
4. We recommend going back to the app at this point to save your secret key somewhere safe for backup, and then click Next.
5. Go back to the Authenticator App and copy the one-time passcode for your new account's 2FA entry.
6. Paste or type the one-time passcode into the Kraken app.
7. Success! You have successfully enabled sign-in 2FA for your account.

To setting up 2FA with a Security Key:

1. Select Security Key after clicking on Two Factor Authentication.
2. You'll be prompted to enter your Security Key and tap the button on it.
3. Success! You have successfully enabled sign-in 2FA for your account.
