Notice of delisting for Kinto (K)

Last updated: 6.8.2025

Update as of August 5, 2025

On July 10, 2025, the Kinto token (K) was exploited. At the request of the Kinto Foundation, we paused K trading and withdrawals shortly after the incident. In response, the Kinto Foundation created a new token, KINTO, to replace the affected version.

  • We credited eligible clients 1:1 with KINTO based on holdings of K at the time of the exploit snapshot (block 356170028, July 10, 2025, 08:37 UTC). No action was required if you held K at the time of the snapshot.

  • KINTO withdrawals opened on August 6, 2025, at 03:00 AM UTC.

  • Trading and deposits will remain disabled for KINTO.

Following this migration, Kraken will delist the new KINTO token. A separate notification will be sent once the delisting date is finalized.
