VIP Earn Boost

As a Kraken VIP client, you have access to promotional rates on select Earn assets through the VIP Earn Boost. These boosted rates are available through the Flexible Opt-in Rewards strategy, meaning you can allocate and deallocate instantly with no lock-up period.

Current promotion

Starting April 6, 2026, VIP clients can earn 10% APY on USDG through the Flexible (VIP boost) strategy. Here are the key details:

  • Asset: USDG

  • Rate: 10% APY

  • Strategy: Flexible (VIP boost), Opt-in Rewards

  • Deallocation wait time: Instant

  • Payout frequency: Once a week

  • Rewards paid in: USDG

  • Per-user cap: $3,000,000

If you are already participating in the Flexible Opt-In Rewards strategy, your APY will automatically update once the promotion begins.

    Open Kraken Pro and select Earn from the left sidebar.

    Find the USDG card in the "For you" section, or locate USDG in the "Ready to earn" table, and select Allocate.

    In the "Earn on USDG" pop-up, select Flexible (VIP boost).

    Select Continue.

    Enter the amount of USDG you'd like to allocate (this promotion has a $3,000,000 cap, but you can still allocate more), or select Max to allocate your full available balance.

    Review the details, including the deallocation wait time, payout frequency, and rewards asset.

    Select Allocate to confirm. You'll see a confirmation screen once your allocation has been initiated. Your next payout date will be displayed on the confirmation screen.

Since the VIP boost uses a Flexible strategy, you can deallocate your USDG at any time with no waiting period. To deallocate:

  1. Go to the Earn page on Kraken Pro and find USDG under the Allocated tab.

  2. Select the asset and choose Deallocate.

  3. Enter the amount you'd like to remove and confirm.

Your funds will be available in your spot balance immediately.

Things to keep in mind

  • The VIP Earn Boost is available exclusively to Kraken VIP clients. If you're not yet a VIP, you can discover more here. 

  • Promotional rates and availability are subject to change. Your Relationship Manager can provide details on upcoming campaigns.

  • The per-user cap of $3,000,000 applies to the total amount allocated to this specific VIP boost strategy.

  • Rewards are paid once a week in the same asset (USDG) and are automatically compounded into your Earn balance.

How to enable Opt-in Rewards

    Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.

    Tap Earn Settings.

    Under the Auto Earn section, tap the Opt-in Rewards button to turn it on.

    Click Earn Settings.

    Under the Auto Earn programs section, ensure Opt-in Rewards is enabled.

    Tap the More button in the bottom-right corner.

    Tap your Name at the top of the page.

    Tap Earn under the Settings section.

    Under the Auto Earn section, ensure the Opt-in Rewards toggle is on.

    Click the profile icon in the top-right corner, then click Settings.

    Scroll down to the Rewards section, and ensure Opt-in Rewards is enabled.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The VIP boost is a separate Flexible strategy. You can allocate USDG across both the Flexible (VIP boost) and the Bonded 60D strategy at the same time, though each has its own rate and terms.

If the promotion ends, your allocation will continue earning at the standard Flexible rate.

No. If you're a qualified VIP client, the Flexible (VIP boost) option will appear automatically when you go to allocate USDG in the Earn section of Kraken Pro.
