Kraken offers margin trading services with certain geographic and eligibility limitations.

Margin trading services are available to most verified clients that reside outside of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Clients in the following regions can access margin trading subject to additional eligibility requirements:

US retail clients: Margin trading is now available to all eligible US retail clients on Kraken Pro. See Getting started with US margin trading to get started.
US ECP clients: US clients who have self-certified as an Eligible Contract Participant (ECP) can access the full international margin product. See Margin trading and ECP self-certification for US clients for details.
