Reading Your Trade History & Ledger

Your Kraken Prop account keeps a full record of all trading activity, order events, and balance changes. To access it, select History from the left sidebar while viewing a Prop account.

The History page has three tabs: Trades, Orders, and Ledger. Each tab includes filters at the top so you can narrow results by price, cost, side, and other criteria. You can also export your data using the Exports button in the top right.

The Trades tab shows every executed trade on your account. Each entry includes the symbol, side (Buy or Sell), position effect (Opening or Closing), volume, trade price, commission, and date.

This is the best place to review exactly what was executed and what commission you paid on each trade.

The Orders tab shows your full order history, including orders that are still pending and orders that have already been filled or triggered. Each entry includes the symbol, status (Position opened, Order pending, Order triggered, etc.), side, size, order ID, type, and date.

This is useful for tracking the lifecycle of your orders, from placement to fill.

The Ledger tab is a complete log of every balance change on your account. Each entry includes the date, side, amount, and a unique ID.

This includes trade settlements, commission deductions, margin funding fee charges (margin rollovers), and payout deductions on funded accounts. The Ledger is the most detailed view of where your balance has gone and is useful for reconciling your account.
