Notice of Beldex ($BDX) delisting and $BELDEX airdrop

Last updated: July 9, 2026

The Beldex team has deployed a new contract and token, $BELDEX, following an incident affecting $BDX. Kraken is airdropping $BELDEX to eligible clients on a 1:1 basis, and legacy $BDX is being delisted. Both tokens now support withdrawals only, and both are set for delisting.

This article explains the airdrop, who is eligible, the withdrawal timelines, and what happens to balances that remain after the deadline. To keep your tokens, withdraw any $BDX or $BELDEX before withdrawals close on September 25, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. Balances remaining after that date will be liquidated automatically.

$BELDEX supports withdrawals only and, like legacy $BDX, is set for delisting. It is being airdropped to eligible clients as described in Airdrop eligibility below.

Eligibility for the $BELDEX airdrop is based on the snapshot set by the Beldex team.

  • Snapshot: June 10, 2026 at 23:36 UTC.

  • Clients who held $BDX at the snapshot will receive a 1:1 airdrop of $BELDEX based on their snapshot balance.

  • Airdrop date: July 10, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. No action is required. The $BELDEX will be credited to your account automatically.

If you acquired $BDX after the snapshot on June 10, 2026 at 23:36 UTC, please note the following:

  • You are not eligible for the $BELDEX airdrop.

  • $BDX withdrawals remain open, so you can still withdraw your $BDX before the deadline.

  • There is no claims portal or other recourse available.

  • July 10, 2026 at 14:00 UTC: $BELDEX airdrop.

  • September 25, 2026 at 14:00 UTC: Withdrawals close for both $BDX and $BELDEX.

  • September 28 to October 2, 2026: Liquidation period for any remaining balances.

To keep your tokens, withdraw any $BDX or $BELDEX you want before withdrawals close on September 25, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. Any balances remaining after that date will be liquidated automatically during the liquidation period.

Please note:

  • Liquidation prices may fall significantly below recent reference prices.

  • Limited market liquidity at the time of execution may result in minimal or no proceeds.

  • The currency of any liquidation proceeds depends on market conditions at execution and cannot be confirmed in advance.

We recommend withdrawing before the deadline rather than relying on the liquidation event.
