Notice of Moonriver (MOVR) Migration to Base

• MOVR is migrating from Polkadot to the Base network at a 1:1 rate.
• Kraken is handling the migration on your behalf. No action is required from you.
• Your MOVR balance will not be affected.
• Trading for MOVR remains open throughout the migration.
• MOVR funding (deposits and withdrawals) will be paused on July 21, 2026 at 14:00 UTC.
• The migration window runs from July 22 to July 24, 2026. Funding will be re-enabled once the migration is complete.
• Polkadot MOVR will no longer be supported after the migration.

Moonriver (MOVR) is moving from Polkadot to the Base network. Kraken will migrate client balances automatically at a 1:1 rate, so every MOVR you hold will remain one MOVR after the migration. The MOVR ticker does not change.

You do not need to bridge tokens, swap anything, or take any other action. If you hold MOVR on Kraken, the migration is handled for you.

You may have seen references to a July 31, 2026 bridging deadline for MOVR. That deadline applies to MOVR held in personal wallets, not to MOVR held on Kraken. There is no need to move your MOVR off Kraken to complete the migration.

Here is what to expect at each stage:

July 21, 2026 at 14:00 UTC: MOVR funding (deposits and withdrawals) is paused. Trading remains open.

July 22 to July 24, 2026: Migration window. MOVR is migrated to MOVR on Base. Funding is re-enabled once the migration is complete.

You do not need to do anything to complete this migration. Kraken will update your account automatically during the migration window.

The MOVR ticker stays the same, so your balance will continue to appear as MOVR in your account. After the migration, your MOVR will be the Base version of the token. Polkadot MOVR will no longer be supported on Kraken.
