When you generate a CC deposit address for your Kraken account, a unique and mandatory Memo is also created.
What is the Memo?
The Memo is a numeric identifier used to match your deposit to your Kraken account and ensure it is credited correctly. For Canton (CC), the Memo is typically a 10-digit numeric code. You must include this Memo with every CC deposit you send to Kraken.

Always double-check that you have entered the correct Memo before sending your CC deposit.
Forgetting or entering an incorrect Memo can cause delays in crediting your funds and, in some cases, the deposit may not be recoverable.
