How to receive funds with Krak
If you already have a verified Krak account, then you’re a few simple steps away from receiving payment:

Share your payment details:
If the sender has a Krak account, they can send funds to you using your Kraktag, your registered email address, or your phone number. If the sender doesn’t have a Krak account—or even if they do—you can share a paylink instead. That paylink will guide them through signing up (if needed) and completing the payment.

Open the Krak app:
Once the sender initiates the payment, you’ll see the incoming transaction under your activity on the home page.

Review the payment details:
Tap the transaction to view the amount, any note from the sender, and the payment details.
No Kraken account? No problem! Follow the steps below to quickly create one and receive your funds:

Open the link you received: Tap the link in the text message or notification. You’ll be prompted to download the Krak app.

Download the Krak app: Install our free app from the App Store or Google Play Store, then launch it to begin the signup process.

Create your new Krak account: Select Create account and enter the email address you’d like to use. You’ll receive a confirmation email, click the link inside to verify and activate your account.

Verify your account: After your account is activated, tap on the “Get verified” button at the top of the Krak app Home page. Then complete the verification process.

Claim your funds: After you verify your Kraken account, tap on the “Pay” button in the bottom right corner. You will see an incoming payment, tap the payment, and then tap the Accept payment button.

Open the Krak app and tap the Request button on the bottom left.

Select the contact(s) that you’d like to request funds from. (Tap Select to request from multiple people)

Enter the amount you’d like to request. The currency shown will be your default currency or you can select a different one.

Tap the arrow icon to view a summary of the payment request.

Review the details, then tap Send to send the request.

After sending a request, you can view the request in the Activity section of the home page.
