EOS (EOS) transition to Vaulta (A)

In May 2025, the EOS Network announced their intention to transition EOS to a new token and project called Vaulta (A), at a conversion rate of 1 EOS : 1 A. Kraken supported this migration for users at this conversion rate.

Kraken had originally been set to delist EOS on June 30, 2025 at 2PM UTC, as well as its associated funding methods.

To allow our clients more time and a more seamless experience, we modified the aforementioned timeline.

On July 10, 2025 at 2PM UTC, we delisted margin on EOS/USD and EOS/EUR. Open positions at this time were closed.


Then, on July 14, 2025 at 2PM UTC, we delisted all EOS spot markets (EOS/USD, EOS/EUR, EOS/USDT, EOS/USDC), and deposits and withdrawals for EOS were also closed at this time.

Please note: Kraken was unable to recover any EOS deposits made after this time.

Any client holding EOS on Kraken at the time of this delisting was automatically included in the migration process, and no further action was required.

We worked with the EOS Network to migrate the balance of eligible users who held EOS at the time of the delisting. A was distributed to users by July 21, 2025, at the conversion rate of 1 EOS : 1 A.

Upon completion, the equivalent amount of A was deposited directly into clients’ Kraken accounts.
