Upcoming changes to EURt

Last year, Tether announced its intention to discontinue support for EURT effective September 1, 2025.

In line with Tether’s decision, Kraken will delist EURT on 5th June, 2025, at 14:00 PM UTC. Deposits for EURT will be closed, and all markets (EURT/USD, EURT/EUR, and EURT/USDT) will be delisted.

Please note:

    Any open EURT orders at the time of delisting will be automatically closed.

    Kraken will be unable to recover any EURT deposits made after this date.

    Withdrawals for EURT will remain available.

Withdrawals for EURT on Kraken will remain available. However, we recommend withdrawing your EURT funds to ensure you retain access to your assets before Tether’s freezing of EURT takes effect in September, 2025.

If you take no action, you may be left holding EURT that cannot be traded, withdrawn, or redeemed after Tether freezes the asset on September 1, 2025 – meaning your EURT could become inaccessible.
