MoneyGram Withdrawals

MoneyGram cash pickup allows you to:

• Convert your USD balance into your local currency at a real-time exchange rate

• Receive a reference number for your transaction

• Pick up physical cash at any participating MoneyGram agent location

In most cases, funds are available for pickup in under 10 minutes after confirmation. Processing times are shown before you confirm your withdrawal.

You may be eligible to use MoneyGram cash pickup if:

• You are fully verified (Intermediate or higher verification level)

• The name on your government-issued ID matches your Kraken account details

• Your country of residence is currently eligible

• You have sufficient USD balance in your Kraken account

Some countries may require additional verification information before you become eligible.

MoneyGram cash pickup is initially available in select countries, with more being added regularly. You can check if cash pickup is available in your country by navigating to the Withdraw screen and looking for your local currency option. MoneyGram operates a global network of hundreds of thousands of agent locations. To find a location near you, visit moneygram.com/locations.

1. Navigate to Withdraw in your Kraken app or on kraken.com

2. Select your local currency (for example, Mexican pesos if you are in Mexico)

3. Review the disclosure confirming that the withdrawal will deduct from your USD balance

4. Enter your desired withdrawal amount to fetch a real-time quote from MoneyGram

5. Review your quote details:
   • Exchange rate (USD to your local currency)
   • Applicable fees and taxes
   • Net payout amount you will receive
   • Quote expiration countdown (quotes are valid for 30 minutes)

6. Tap Confirm to lock in the quote and initiate your withdrawal

7. Save your reference number — you will need it to collect your cash

8. Visit a participating MoneyGram agent location with:
   • Your reference number
   • A valid government-issued photo ID

All MoneyGram withdrawals are deducted from your USD balance. Your USD is converted into your selected local currency using a real-time exchange rate provided by MoneyGram. The exchange rate and payout amount are shown before you confirm.

Before you confirm, your quote will display:

• The exchange rate

• All applicable fees

• Any required taxes

• The exact payout amount you will receive in local currency

There are no hidden fees. The confirmed quote reflects the total cost of the transaction.

Yes. MoneyGram cash pickup has its own withdrawal limits, separate from your overall Kraken account withdrawal limits. Limits are shown on the withdrawal screen before you start a transaction. These limits may change over time.

Once you confirm:

• Your USD balance is debited immediately

• You will receive a reference number

• The funds are typically available for cash pickup within minutes

• You can track the status of your withdrawal in your Kraken transaction history

Take your reference number and a valid photo ID to any participating MoneyGram agent location to collect your cash.

Quotes are valid for 30 minutes. If your quote expires before you confirm, no funds will be deducted. You can simply request a new quote. The new quote may reflect a different exchange rate.

You may not see the MoneyGram option if:

• MoneyGram cash pickup is not yet available in your country

• Your account is not fully verified (Intermediate or higher required)

• Your account does not meet eligibility requirements

• Additional verification information is required for your country

• The service is temporarily unavailable

If you believe you should be eligible and do not see the option, please contact Kraken Support.

Once a withdrawal is confirmed and a reference number is issued, it cannot be cancelled through Kraken. If you experience an issue collecting your funds, please contact Kraken Support for assistance.

Bank transfers via MoneyGram are not currently supported. At this time, only cash pickup withdrawals are available through the MoneyGram integration.

The source currency for all MoneyGram withdrawals is USD. The available payout currencies depend on your country of residence. When you navigate to the Withdraw screen, you will see which local currencies are available to you.
