How to withdraw Brazilian Real

Brazilian Real (BRL) withdrawals will be taken from your US Dollar (USD) balance. This means that if you wish to withdraw BRL, the equivalent amount will be withdrawn from your USD balance, as your BRL deposit was automatically converted to USD upon being deposited to Kraken.

Withdraw BRL from Kraken (kraken.com/c)

    On the homepage on the Withdraw button.

    Under the asset dropdown select BRL.

    Reminder: BRL withdrawals will be taken from your USD balance, as BRL deposits are automatically converted to USD.

    After selecting BRL, choose PIX Transfer as your withdrawal method. Click I understand to continue.

    Under the assets dropdown you will see your USD balance.

    Enter your CPF that is connected to a bank account linked to your CPF.

    Enter your PIX key and the amount you wish to withdraw.

    PIX key: is a unique identifier that represents your bank account in Brazil. You use it when you want to withdraw money.

    Click Continue and review the pop-up screen with important withdrawal details.

    Click Confirm to complete your withdrawal.

How to withdraw BRL on the Kraken app:

    Open the Kraken app and go to the Portfolio tab.

    Tap BRL from the list of available assets.

    Note: Although you're withdrawing BRL, the amount will be taken from your USD balance and converted to BRL.

    Enter your PIX key.

    Enter the amount you want to withdraw.

    Once ready tap Confirm to complete your withdrawal.
