How to deposit funds with Canada Post

To deposit funds with Canada Post your Kraken account must be verified. 

 

IPP Deposit QR Code Availability:

    The QR code for IPP deposits is currently only available on the Kraken web portal.

    We are working to make this feature available across all platforms, including the Kraken app, Kraken Pro app, and Kraken Pro web.

To deposit funds with Canada Post:

    Sign in to your Kraken account.

    Click the Deposit button.

    To make a deposit, search for CAD (Canadian Dollars) under Asset, select Wire Transfer under Deposit Method, and choose In-Person Payments (IPP) under Account.

    The system will generate a QR code, which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of the page.

    The QR code below is a sample and will redirect you back to this support page .

    Take a clear photo or screenshot of your QR code.

    Visit your local Canada Post office and have them scan your QR code.

  7. 7

    Pay using physical cash or debit.

  8. 8

    The funds should reach your Kraken account within 30-60 minutes.
