Profile and Account Settings

This article guides you through the Profile and Account settings in the Krak app.

You can access your Account details page at any time by tapping your profile icon. This section provides essential information and tools related to your Kraken account.

Key actions available:

  • Update your display name and/or Kraktag
    Personalize how your profile appears to others.

  • Find your public account ID
    Easily locate your unique ID for sharing or reference.

  • Check your verification status
    Stay informed about your current verification level.

  • Review your features and limits
    Understand the services available to you and any usage caps.

  • Close your account
    Manage your account lifecycle with the option to deactivate when needed.

Here you can find and manage all payment methods associated with your account.

  • Tap Add a card to add new payment methods. 

  • Tap the Bin icon to delete a card.

  • You can also tap the Deposit button to add money directly into your account balance.

Here you can discover people you know who are already using Kraken or the Krak app. Search your friends name or Kraktag.

Alternatively, you can choose to sync your contacts.

Here you can control how others discover and connect with you while using the Krak app. You can update the visibility of your Kraktag, Display name, email address and Phone number. 

Additionally, here you can choose to enable contact sync and control who can send you a payment request. 

To protect your account ensure you have 2FA enabled, e.g. a Passkey or Authenticator app. 

Find all connected devices associated with your account. If you have a Kraken account, this list will also include devices you are signed into with your Kraken account. Tap a specific device listed, if you would like to remove it.
