Yes, Kraken supports deposits and withdrawals in ARS via bank transfers in Argentina through payment partners. You must use a bank account that is in your name and registered in Argentina.

To deposit or withdraw ARS via bank transfer:

- Your Kraken account must be verified to the Intermediate level.
- You must provide a valid CUIT or CUIL (Argentine Tax ID).
- The bank account must be in your name and located in Argentina.
- You may need to complete identity and address verification.
 

CUIT and CUIL are unique identifiers issued by the Argentinian government. CUIT is used for tax purposes, while CUIL is for labor and social security purposes. Local regulations require that we collect either a CUIT or CUIL for all clients who reside in Argentina. 

To utilize local payment rails in Argentina, you are required to have a CUIT or CUIL. 

If you no longer reside in Argentina, you can request an update to your residential address via this form. 

Depending on your new country of residence, a Tax ID may or may not be required information for onboarding. Please submit a request to update your address via this form, and you will be notified of what additional information (if any) is required in order to complete the request. 

Your Tax ID is utilized by our payment providers to verify ownership of the bank account used for deposit and withdrawals. Please note, we only permit transfers to/from accounts in your name.
