Nillion (NIL) Token Migration to Ethereum

Nillion ($NIL) will be migrating from Cosmos to Ethereum. The ticker will remain NIL and all balances will be converted at a rate of 1:1. This will be performed automatically on Kraken. All NIL balances will be converted to the new Ethereum-based NIL token. NIL on Cosmos will no longer be supported on Kraken once the migration is completed.

Please review your NIL holdings and note the following deadlines. No action is required on your part, Kraken will handle the migration automatically.

  • March 13, 2pm UTC: Deposits and withdrawals for NIL on Cosmos will be paused
  • March 16 – March 20, 2pm UTC: Migration will be performed on behalf of all clients during this period. Funding will resume for NIL on Ethereum once the migration is completed during this window.
  • You don't need to take any action. Your NIL balance will automatically be migrated to the new Ethereum-based NIL token at a 1:1 rate.
  • NIL deposits and withdrawals will be paused starting March 13 at 2pm UTC.
  • NIL on Cosmos will no longer be supported on Kraken after the migration is complete.
  • There will be no change to your ledger balances. Your NIL balance will remain the same.
  • Once migration is complete, your updated NIL balance will appear in your account and funding will resume on Ethereum.
