xStocks Perps on Kraken Pro

xStocks Perps (Perpetual Futures) let you trade select traditional-market exposures as perpetual futures, with crypto-native features like 24/7 trading and leverage. Click here for the full list of xStocks available as xStocks Perps.

xStocks Perps are perpetual futures contracts that track the price of certain major market benchmarks, such as:

    AAPLx (Apple)

  • •

    CRCLx (Circle Internet Group)

  • •

    GLDx (Gold exposure)

  • •

    GOOGLx (Alphabet Inc)

  • •

    HOODx (Robinhood Markets Inc)

  • •

    MSTRx (Strategy Inc)

  • •

    NVDAx (Nvidia Corp)

  • •

    QQQx (Nasdaq 100 exposure)

  • •

    SPYx (S&P 500 exposure)

  • •

    TSLAx (Tesla Inc)

Because they are perpetuals, they can be traded 24/7, without traditional market open/close constraints.

24/7 trading

Trade several stocks, the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Gold exposure around the clock, including weekends and holidays.

Leverage (up to 20x)

xStocks Perps support up to 20x leverage, allowing you to take larger positions with less upfront capital (which also increases risk).

Flexible collateral

Use the same collateral you already use for margin or Derivatives, including stablecoins and supported crypto assets.

Long or short

Like other perpetual futures, you can take positions in either direction, depending on your market view.

Trading xStocks Perps

    Go to pro.kraken.com and sign in to your Kraken account.

    After signing in, you can immediately find xStocks Perps using the Market selector in the top left corner.

    After clicking the market selector, click the Futures filter to see only Futures markets.

    You may also use the search bar to search for a specific xStock Perps market. Remember, at this time, only certain xStocks are available as xStocks Perps.

    Then, use the Categories filter to only display xStocks.

    On the Trade page, you can then use the Order Form widget to place a buy or sell order. First, you’ll want to select whether you’d like to buy or sell, then select the order type.

    Next, follow the instructions in this article for placing an order on a futures market.

    Open the Kraken Pro app, sign in if needed.

    xStocks Perps can be found on the Markets tab of Kraken Pro in the bottom left corner, but you may also search for xStocks Perps by tapping the Search bar at the top of the screen. 

    Remember, at this time, only certain xStocks are available as xStocks Perps.

    Tap the xStock Perps market you’d like to trade. This will take you to the Trade page for this xStock market.
