Recovering your wallet with iCloud backup

With iCloud backup, it's easy to recover your wallet with just a few taps. This is a useful feature for common scenarios like if you lost or replaced your iPhone, or are reinstalling the Kraken Wallet app.

This guide is for Kraken Wallet users that have already created an encrypted iCloud backup of their Secret Recovery Phrase, and wish to recover (import) their wallet.

If you have erased or reinstalled your Kraken Wallet app and wish to recover your wallet using your iCloud backup, follow these steps:

    Open the Kraken Wallet app and tap the Import button.

    Tap the Import from iCloud option.

    Tap the Use my passkey button.

    Complete the guided onboarding steps. You're now ready to use your Kraken Wallet!
