October Deposit Match FAQ

October 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025 or when the community net deposits reach $500M, whichever comes first.

The following countries are excluded from participating in this promotion:

To qualify, you must:

• Minimum total deposit: $1,000*
• Maximum deposit: No maximum

*Minimum deposit must equal 1,000 USD (or the equivalent in another currency) throughout the promotion period. Once $1,000 in net deposits have been made, all crypto and cash deposits during the promotional period will qualify for a match.

Not eligible: Apple Pay / Google Pay and card payment deposits.

Rewards are tiered based on total deposits across all participating clients:

The promotion ends October 31, 2025 or when cumulative eligible deposits reach $500M, whichever comes first.

Example earnings: 

Deposit $5,000 during October: 

• At 1% = $50 
• At 1.5% = $75
• At 2% = $100

If you’re a Kraken+ subscriber, you get a 0.5% increase in deposit match boost:

Example earnings as a Kraken+ subscriber:

Deposit $5,000 during October as a Kraken+ subscriber: 

• At 1.5% = $75 
• At 2% = $100
• At 2.5% = $125

Example earnings if you're no longer a Kraken+ subscriber:

Deposit $5,000 during October: 

• At 1% = $50 
• At 1.5% = $75
• At 2% = $100

• Rewards are paid in USDG within 14 days after the promotion period ends.
• There is no payout cap.
• Rewards are spendable immediately on the platform, but to remain eligible, you must maintain a positive amount in net deposits for 12 months otherwise see "What happens if I withdraw my funds early’" FAQ below.

Within 14 days after the promotion period ends.

All deposits made will be instantly tradable on Kraken, but when withdrawing off platform, from your portfolio after October 31, 2025 (or when $500M net deposit level is reached by the collective participants) through November 1, 2026, the match reward may be subject to a chargeback if your portfolio balance is below the net deposit level that qualified for the match reward during the promotion. You must stay a Kraken+ subscriber if you are elgible for the 0.5% boost.

For example:

• Your deposit: $10,000 (net eligible deposit)
• Community milestone: $500M in total deposits → qualifies for 2% match
• Your reward: 2% of $10,000 = $200

So at the end of the promo period:

• You’ll keep your original $10,000 deposit
• Plus, you’ll be credited $200 in USDG as your reward

12-Month Condition

• To keep the $200 reward, you need to maintain your account balance at or above the original $10,000 baseline for the 12-month period.
• If you keep at least $10,000 on platform until the end of the period (Nov 30, 2026) → you keep the $200 reward.
• If your balance falls below $10,000 due to withdrawals → the $200 reward is reclaimed.
• If you are eligble for the Kraken+ boost and your subscription ends within the 12-month period, you will no longer be eligble for the 0.5% boost.

If your net eligible deposits drop below your baseline during the 12-month period:

• The reward amount (USDG) will be deducted from your account.
• If your USDG balance is insufficient, it may result in a negative balance, which must be cleared before further trading or withdrawals.
