Setting up permissions for the Earn API

Before being able to use the earn product, your account must first be verified. For troubleshooting, please refer to these common error messages.

 

Steps on how to add permissions for the Earn API:

    Sign in to your Kraken account.

    Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page, and navigate to Settings.

    Within your settings, find and select the Connections &API tab.

    Click Create API key.

  5. 5

    Add the desired key permissions by selecting the key permissions corresponding to the desired functionality of the earn API. Further details of each endpoint are discussed in the API docs.

    Click Generate key.

  7. 7

    The key is now available for use. Please reference documentation for authentication methods and signing.
