Funding your Derivatives account in the EEA

Transferring to and from Derivatives Wallets

Transfer funds on Kraken Pro web

To trade on the Kraken Pro website you will need to transfer funds from your spot wallet directly to your Multi-Collateral wallet.

Transfer funds from the Spot Wallet to the Derivatives Wallets

Navigate to the Portfolio tab and then click Derivatives.
•
Click the ‘Transfer’ button.
•
Click on Preview Transfer to review the transfer details and then click Confirm Transfer.
•
Once submitted, you will see a green notification at the bottom right of the screen.
•
After a few seconds your funds will be in your Derivatives account and you are ready to start trading.

Transfer funds from the Derivatives Wallet to Kraken Spot

•
Navigate to the Portfolio tab and then click Derivatives.
•
Click the ‘Derivatives transfers’ button.
•
Click on ‘Preview Transfer’ to review the transfer details and then click ‘Confirm Transfer’.
•
Once submitted you will see the pop up and after a few seconds your funds will be in your Spot wallet.

Transfer funds on Kraken Pro mobile

To trade on the Kraken Pro mobile app you will need to transfer funds from your spot wallet directly to your Multi-Collateral wallet.

•
Navigate to the Portfolio tab.
•
Click the ‘Transfer’ button.
•
Choose the currency you wish to transfer.
•
Enter in the amount you wish to transfer. Make sure it meets our minimums.
•
Click on ‘Transfer’.
•
Swipe to confirm the transfer and you will see a summary of your transfer.
•
Once submitted, after a few seconds your funds will be in your Derivatives account and you are ready to start trading.

Transfer funds from the Derivatives Multi-Collateral Wallet to Kraken Spot

•
Navigate to the Portfolio tab.
•
Click the ‘Transfer’ button.
•
Choose the currency you wish to transfer.
•
Enter in the amount you wish to transfer. Make sure the direction is from Derivatives to Spot and that it meets our minimums

Click on ‘Transfer’.
•
Swipe to confirm the transfer and you will see a summary of your transfer.
•
Once submitted, after a few seconds your funds will be in your Spot account.

Transfer Minimums

Transfers between spot and Derivatives are free, seamless, and typically take less than 10 seconds to complete.

Note: These minimums only apply for transfers between spot and Derivatives. They do not apply to transfers between Derivatives trading wallets.
