Notice of Aerodrome (AERO) and Velodrome (VELODROME) migration to Aero

• Aerodrome (AERO on Base) and Velodrome (VELODROME on OP Mainnet) are merging into one protocol, Aero.
• The new token keeps the AERO ticker on Base and has a new contract address.
• AERO migrates at a 1:1 rate. VELODROME migrates at approximately 0.044 new AERO per VELODROME.
• Kraken will handle the migration on your behalf. You do not need to take any action.
• VELODROME funding and trading will be paused on October 30, 2026 at 14:00 UTC.
• AERO funding (deposits and withdrawals) will be paused on October 30, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. AERO trading remains open throughout the migration.
• Do not deposit AERO or VELODROME after the pause begins, as funds may be lost.
• The migration window runs from November 2 to November 6, 2026. AERO funding will resume by end of day November 6, 2026.
• VELODROME will no longer be supported after the migration. Only AERO will be supported going forward.

Aerodrome and Velodrome are merging into one protocol, Aero. As part of the merger, AERO moves to a new token contract on Base. The AERO ticker does not change.

VELODROME, which currently trades on OP Mainnet, will be converted into the new AERO token on Base. After the migration, VELODROME will no longer be supported on Kraken.

Kraken will update your balance automatically. You do not need to bridge tokens, swap anything, or take any other action for assets held on Kraken.

• AERO: 1 legacy AERO = 1 new AERO.
• VELODROME: 1 VELODROME = approximately 0.044 new AERO.

The exact VELODROME rate is fixed in the contract at deployment. Kraken will apply the exact rate from the on-chain result when updating balances, so the final amount may differ slightly from the rounded figure above.

Here is what to expect at each stage:

October 30, 2026 at 14:00 UTC:

• VELODROME: Funding and trading are paused.
• AERO: Funding (deposits and withdrawals) is paused. Trading remains open throughout the migration.

Important: Do not attempt to deposit AERO or VELODROME after this time, as funds may be lost.

November 2 to November 6, 2026: Migration window. Balances are updated to reflect the migration. AERO funding resumes by end of day November 6, 2026.

You do not need to do anything to complete this migration. Kraken will update your account automatically during the migration window.

• If you hold AERO: Your balance stays the same. Every AERO you hold remains one AERO, now on the new Base contract.
• If you hold VELODROME: Your VELODROME balance is converted to AERO at approximately 0.044 new AERO per VELODROME, using the exact rate fixed in the contract.

After the migration, VELODROME is no longer supported on Kraken.
