Migration of Kujira (KUJI) to Rujira (RUJI)
In September 2024, the Kujira team announced their intention to merge KUJI into a new token and project called Rujira (RUJI), with a conversion rate of 1 KUJI : 0.372462 RUJI. Kraken will facilitate this migration for users at this conversion rate.
What's changing?
On June 16, 2025 at 14:00 PM UTC we will delist KUJI markets (KUJI/USD, KUJI/EUR) on Kraken, and deposit and withdrawals for KUJI will also be closed.
Please note: Kraken is unable to recover any KUJI deposits made after this time.
Any client holding KUJI on Kraken at the time of this delisting will be automatically included in the migration process, no further action is required.
What's next?
We will work with the Kujira/Rujira team to migrate the balance of eligible users who held KUJI at the time of the delisting. We expect to distribute RUJI to users by Monday June 23 2025, at the conversion rate of 1 KUJI : 0.372462 RUJI.
Upon completion, the equivalent amount of RUJI will be deposited directly into your Kraken account.
