Verification levels and limits

Last updated: 13. mars 2026

Your verification level determines your account's features and funding limits.

To see your limits, check the "Verification & Limits" section in the Krak app. This can be found by tapping your profile photo in the top left corner, followed by Account → Verification & Limits.

If you haven't fully verified your Krak account, you'll be able to increase your limits by uploading your ID.

Send limits

Krak allows users to send both fiat and cryptocurrency to other Krak accounts, subject to certain limits.

  • Minimum transfer amount:
The minimum amount you can send to another Krak user is $1 USD (or equivalent in other supported currencies).

  • Default 30-day limit:
By default, users can send up to $3,000 USD per week, across both fiat and crypto transfers. This combined limit is applied to all outgoing transfers to other Krak accounts.

  • Rolling reset:
These limits reset on a rolling 30-day basis, meaning the limit refreshes progressively rather than on a fixed day each week.

Dynamic limit adjustments:
Send limits are dynamic and may adjust automatically over time based on your continued usage of Kraken. In most cases, your limits may increase the more you use the platform. Factors that influence these adjustments include:

  • Krak or Kraken account age

  • Your country of residence

  • Your selected deposit methods

  • Your transaction history and usage patterns
