Notice of select native pairs moving to synthetic pairs

We are replacing 176 native trading pairs with synthetic pairs. The assets themselves are staying on Kraken, and only the pair type is changing.

The process works as follows:

  1. 1

    The affected native pairs move to cancel-only, meaning open orders may only be canceled, and new orders cannot be submitted.

  2. 2

    Any orders still open on those pairs are canceled.

  3. 3

    The native pairs are delisted.

  4. 4

    The synthetic replacement pairs are listed.

Your balances are not affected by this change.

Important:

Open orders do not carry over to the synthetic pairs. To stay in control of your orders, cancel any open orders on the affected native pairs before Nov 6, 14:00 UTC. Any orders still open after that time will be canceled by Kraken.

If you have open orders on an affected pair:

  1. 1

    Cancel your open orders on the affected native pairs before Nov 6, 14:00 UTC.

  2. 2

    Once the synthetic replacement pair is listed (Nov 9), place new orders on it.

If you do not have open orders on an affected pair: No action is needed.

Margin pairs are not part of this change.
