February Deposit Match

The February Deposit Match is a limited-time Kraken promotion that rewards eligible users with a 3% match on new cash or crypto deposits of up to $1,000,000 USD total (or the equivalent in your local currency) when they enroll through the Kraken app.

Eligible participants can earn a 3% deposit match on their qualifying net deposits during the promotion period. Your match bonus is rewarded within 14 days of the promotion's end.

‘Net deposits’ means any deposits minus any withdrawals made during the promotion (deposits-withdrawals).

To retain your match bonus over the 18 month hold period, do not withdraw below your net deposits.

Enrollment required before depositing:

You must enroll through the Kraken app to be eligible for the February Deposit Match. Deposits made before enrolling in the app will not qualify. 
You will receive a confirmation in app and by email if you enrolled successfully.

  • Start: February 2, 2026 at 14:00 UTC
  • End: March 9, 2026 at 13:59 UTC

 

Only deposits made after enrolling and during this period count toward the match.

Please note:

The examples below are provided in USD. If your account uses a different currency, the equivalent amount will apply.

  • Minimum total deposit: $1 USD* 
  • Maximum matched deposit: $1,000,000 USD 
  • Maximum reward: $30,000 USD 

*Minimum deposit must equal 1 USD (or the equivalent in another currency) throughout the promotion period. Once at least $1 in net deposits have been made, all crypto and cash deposits during the promotional period will qualify for a match.

Apple Pay / Google Pay and Credit / Debit cards are not qualifying funding methods.
Transfers between Kraken and Kraken Pro do not qualify as new deposits.

Kraken will apply a 3% match to your total net deposits (up to $1M USD maximum of your net deposits, or local currency equivalent) as of March 9, 2026.

Yes. Deposits made through Kraken or Kraken Pro both count toward your total - you must first enroll through the Kraken app.

Your reward will be credited within 14 calendar days after the promotion ends.

  • Rewards are paid in USDG
  • Canada only: rewards are paid in USDC
  • Rewards may be displayed in your local currency, but payout is made in USDG or USDC

All deposits are instantly tradable on Kraken, but when withdrawing off platform after March 9, 2026 to September 9, 2027 (18 months),  the match reward may be subject to a chargeback if you withdraw below the net deposits that you made during the promotion.

Market fluctuations (such as losses or gains from trading) do not affect your match reward. However, if you withdraw below the net deposits you made during the promotion, then a chargeback will be triggered.

To keep your match reward, your qualifying net deposits must stay at or above the net deposit amount that qualifies for the promotion. If you withdraw funds between March 9, 2026 and September 9, 2027 (18 months) and your qualifying net deposits fall below that level as a result of your withdrawal, your reward will be fully removed.

You will be warned before a clawback takes place through your email and the Kraken App notifications, so make sure these are turned on.

The following actions may trigger a chargeback, because Kraken cannot track whether funds are withdrawn outside the Kraken ecosystem:

  • Moving funds to a Custody wallet
  • Moving funds to a derivatives (Futures) wallet for US clients

The following actions do not trigger a chargeback, as long as you do not withdraw funds in a way that reduces your qualifying net deposit amount:

  • Moving funds to a derivatives (Futures) wallet and trading futures (Non US Clients)
  • Making an OTC trade
  • Trading equities
  • Activating or using bonded staking, recurring buys, auto earn and bundles
  • Moving funds between your own Kraken wallets
  • Moving funds to Hybrid Earn, DeFi Vaults, or Babylon Staking

 This promotion is limited to one account per person. Multiple accounts are not eligible.
