Krak Card Cashback Overview

Last updated: 4 Feb 2026

Krak Cardholders in the UK and EEA can earn up to 1% cashback on eligible purchases with their physical or virtual debit card. Rewards become available shortly after the payment settles.

To celebrate the Krak Card launch, ALL cardholders will receive 1% cashback on their spend until March 31, 2026. After March 31, your cashback tier will be determined by your total balance across your Krak, Kraken, and Kraken Pro accounts.

March 31, 2026.

The cashback amount appears once the merchant settles the transaction. This can sometimes be instant, or take a few hours. Until the merchant settles, the cashback amount will appear as “pending” in the Krak App on the transaction.

All Krak Cardholders automatically earn cashback. There’s no subscription, no opt-in, and no minimum balance required.

You’ll earn cashback on all eligible card purchases. The only exceptions are:

  • ATM withdrawals.

  • Refunds.

  • Transactions under £0.49 or €0.49.

  • Non-purchase transactions, such as money transfers or wire transfers.

Simply use your Krak Card anywhere. Each eligible purchase earns 1% cashback. Standard exclusions apply such as transactions £0.49 and under ATM withdrawals, refunds, and chargebacks do not qualify.

There are currently no monthly caps or earning limits.

Cashback is paid in your card’s primary currency (GBP or EUR) or BTC.

Please note: If you select BTC as your payout asset, your cashback is converted at the BTC price when the merchant settles the transaction, not when you made the purchase. That means if the BTC price moves between the time you spend and the time it settles, the value you receive in BTC could go up or down.

You can track and manage your cashback in two places:

  • Activity Feed: Every eligible transaction shows its cashback amount on the transaction details screen, marked as “pending” until it settles
  • Rewards Hub: A full breakdown of lifetime earnings, recent rewards.

Receiving cashback is generally not considered a taxable event. Consult a tax advisor to understand your individual circumstances. Learn more here.
