How to withdraw Colombian Peso

Colombian Peso (COP) withdrawals will be taken from your US Dollar (USD) balance. This means that if you wish to withdraw COP, the equivalent amount will be withdrawn from your USD balance, as your COP deposit was automatically converted to USD upon being deposited to Kraken.

    On your account homepage click the Portfolio followed by Withdraw.

    Under the asset dropdown select COP.

    Reminder: COP withdrawals will be taken from your USD balance, as COP deposits are automatically converted to USD.

    Under the assets dropdown you will see your USD balance. You can use the currency switcher to view the conversion to COP.

    Click Continue and review your withdrawal details (includes fees and exchange rate).

    Click Confirm to initiate the withdrawal.

    That’s it! Withdrawals should be near-instant.

    Open your Kraken app, tap Transfer, followed by Withdraw.

    Search for or tap COP on the asset selection page.

    The next screen will outline more details about COP withdrawals. Tap I understand to continue.


    Note: Although you're withdrawing COP, the amount will be taken from your USD balance and converted to COP.

    If you have not already done so, you will be asked to provide a valid ID document.

    Enter your bank account details.

    Enter the amount you would like to withdraw - you can switch between USD and COP.

    Review your withdrawal details (includes fees and exchange rate). Click Confirm to initiate the withdrawal.

    That’s it! Withdrawals should be near-instant.
