DeFi Earn troubleshooting

Make sure you’re in an eligible region.

Ensure you have funds available in your balance that are not already on hold (ex. pending cash deposits or open orders cannot be allocated).

If depositing cash (USD, EUR, etc.) or non-USDC stablecoins, Kraken will first convert them into USDC. If the conversion fails, the deposit won’t complete.

Double-check that your app is updated to the latest version.

This may happen while funds are being converted to USDC and allocated to the vault. The blockchain must confirm the transaction before it’s final.

Pending deposits usually resolve automatically.

A failed allocation means the vault did not receive your funds.

Your balance will remain in your account, and it might have been converted to USDC.

You should be able to try again.

If it continues, contact Kraken Support with the transaction details.

Withdrawals are usually instant, but vault liquidity can run low if many users exit at once.

If liquidity is insufficient, please try again later once the vault’s automated strategy or provider has replenished available liquidity.

In rare cases, a withdrawal attempt may fail.

The failed transaction does not affect balances, your vault balance remains intact.

Try the withdrawal again later, or in smaller amounts.

You may be located in a region where DeFi Earn is not available.

Make sure your account is verified.

Ensure your Kraken, Kraken Pro, or Krak app is updated to the latest version.
