EOS (EOS) transition to Vaulta (A)

In May 2025, the EOS Network announced their intention to transition EOS to a new token and project called Vaulta (A), at a conversion rate of 1 EOS : 1 A. Kraken will support this migration for users at this conversion rate.

Previously Kraken was set to delist EOS On June 30, 2025 2PM UTC as well as delist its associated funding methods.

To allow our clients more time and a more seamless experience, we are modifying the aforementioned time line.

On July 10, 2025 2PM UTC, we will delist margin on EOS/USD and EOS/EUR. Open positions at this time will be closed.


Then, on July 14, 2025 2PM UTC, we will delist all EOS spot markets (EOS/USD, EOS/EUR, EOS/USDT, EOS/USDC), and deposit and withdrawals for EOS will also be closed at this time.

Please note: Kraken is unable to recover any EOS deposits made after this time.

Any client holding EOS on Kraken at the time of this delisting will be automatically included in the migration process, no further action is required.

We will work with the EOS Network to migrate the balance of eligible users who held EOS at the time of the delisting. We expect to distribute A to users by July 21, 2025, at the conversion rate of 1 EOS : 1 A.

Upon completion, the equivalent amount of A will be deposited directly into your Kraken account.
