Why Can't I Purchase an Evaluation?

If you're unable to complete an evaluation purchase, it's likely due to one of the following reasons.

What it means: You already have an active evaluation on Kraken Prop. Only one active evaluation is allowed at a time.

How to resolve: Complete your current evaluation (by hitting the profit target) or close it (by contacting support or letting it breach). Once your active evaluation is no longer in progress, you can purchase a new one.

Note: This check applies across all your prop accounts. If you have an active evaluation on any account, you cannot purchase another.

What it means: The total balance across all your active funded accounts has reached the $200,000 maximum. This limit is cumulative across all funded accounts.

How to resolve: Close an existing funded account to free up capacity, then try purchasing again. You can also wait for a funded account to breach, which would reduce your total funded capital.

What it means: Your account has been restricted from Kraken Prop. This can happen for various compliance or policy reasons.

What it means: You selected "Pay with Kraken balance" but don't have enough USD in your Kraken account to cover the purchase.

How to resolve: Deposit funds into your Kraken account, or switch to credit card payment instead. Credit card payments only require basic verification (email and country).

What it means: You selected "Pay with Kraken balance" but your account is not fully verified.

How to resolve: Complete full identity verification in your Kraken account settings, or switch to credit card payment, which only requires basic verification.
