Watchlist alerts on Kraken

Watchlist alerts on Kraken are useful to inform you about considerable price movements in the assets added to your Watchlist. You’ll be notified of volatility (including the percentage price movement in the last 24 hours and the current price) in assets you have favorited. These alerts can be set up to trigger in either (or both) of our Web or Mobile interfaces via settings on the respective platforms.

    Sign in and navigate to the Explore page.

    Find the asset you want to add to your Watchlist and click the star icon ⭐.

This section is tailored for clients exploring the new Kraken app interface.

    Sign in and tap on the Explore tab.

    Tap the asset you want to add to your Watchlist.

    Tap the star icon ⭐ in the top right corner of the asset page.

    You're done! You can manage your watchlist under the home tab.

    Sign in and navigate to the Notifications page.

    Toggle on Browser notifications to enable alerts in your browser.

    You can now switch Watchlist alerts on or off with the toggle.

    Tap the Account icon, then scroll down and tap Notifications.

    On the Notifications page, you can customize what notifications you recieve from Kraken.

    Under customize, you will find Watchlist alerts. Toggle this on.

Note: Notifications must be enabled at both your OS and browser level in order to receive any Watchlist alerts on web. For app, you may have to enable Kraken to send you Push notifications on the OS level.

    On your computer, open Chrome.

    At the top right, click More and then Settings.

  3. 3

    Click Privacy and security and then Site Settings and then Notifications.

    Select the option that you want as your default setting.

    1. Click Add.

    2. Next to "Allowed to send notifications," click Add.

    3. Enter the site's web address (https://pro.kraken.com/).

    4. Click Add.

    Open pro.kraken.com in Firefox.

    Click the Padlock in the address bar.

    Click the arrow in the Site Information drop-down panel.

    Click More information in the next panel to bring up the Page Info window.

    Click the Permissions tab.

    Under Send Notifications, choose Allow. If your choices are grayed out, deselect the Use Default checkbox before clicking Allow.

Alternatively, you can:

    In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences.

    Click Privacy & Security from the left pane.

  3. 3

    Scroll to the Permissions section.

    Click the Settings... button to the right of Notifications.

  5. 5

    Select Allow from the Status drop-down for pro.kraken.com.

    Click the Save Changes button.

    Open Safari, then in the Menu bar choose Safari > Settings, then click Websites.

    Click Notifications on the left.

    If pro.kraken.com is not listed, please navigate to that page in Safari and follow the Web instructions above.

    If it is listed, change the setting on the right to Allow.

    Launch the Brave browser on your computer.

    Open pro.kraken.com.

  3. 3

    In the address bar, click on the site information/settings button, directly left of the URL.

    Select Site Settings from the menu that displays.

    Change the value of the Notifications permission to Allow.

    Click Privacy and security on the menu on the left.

    Switch Use Google services for push messaging to on.

Apple iOS devices:

    Open the Settings app on your iOS device.

    Scroll down and find the name of your Kraken Wallet app.

  3. 3

    Tap on the app name to access its settings.

  4. 4

    Look for the Notifications or Notification Settings option and tap on it.

  5. 5

    Toggle the switch to enable notifications for the wallet app.

    You may also customize notification preferences, such as sound, badges, and alert style, as per your preferences.

Android devices:

    Open the Settings app on your Android device.

    Scroll down and select Apps or Application Manager, depending on your device's version.

  3. 3

    Find and tap on the name of your Kraken wallet app.

  4. 4

    Tap on App notifications or a similar option.

  5. 5

    Toggle the switch to enable notifications for the wallet app.

  6. 6

    You can further customize the notification settings, including sound and vibration preferences.

Apple iOS devices:

    Open the Settings app on your iOS device.

    Scroll down and find the name of your Kraken wallet app.

    Tap on the app name to access its settings.

    Look for the Notifications or Notification Settings option and tap on it.
