Stellar Lumens' star/asterisk symbol

Many new clients are confused by the star/asterisk (*) symbol next to their Stellar Lumens balance.

The star/asterisk (*) is simply the currency symbol of Stellar Lumens, just like how "$" is the symbol for US dollars and Canadian dollars or how "฿" is the symbol for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

The star/asterisk does not mean that there is something wrong with your balance.
